Do you want to be part of a team driving improvements within the Microsoft Services organization resulting in better customer and employee experiences?

The Strategic Programs Landing Lead is part of the Business Excellence and Operations (BEO) organization.  This role requires a collaborative business leader with strong change management experience, understanding of the delivery and project management disciplines, and the ability to influence successfully in a highly matrixed environment.  Partnering with your peers, the team will drive complex behavioral change by leading the planning and execution of change management strategies for assigned programs, facilitating interaction between internal operations teams and delivery teams, and landing key processes and tools within the organization.

Responsibilities

Implement and land Delivery Excellence Services Programs within the delivery organization, through effective change management & adoption:

• Manage and track specific delivery improvement initiatives within the delivery organization.
• Using standard processes and templates, develop customized change management strategies based on the change impact and audience.
• Collaborate across multiple teams to facilitate field enablement and feedback.
• Monitor and review change adoption and implement resistance mitigation and reinforcement strategies.
• Contribute towards the prioritization of improvement initiatives.
• Foster high maturity culture.

Collaborate with field partners to gain insight into pain points and feedback:Facilitate discussions to feed that into process and tool improvement initiatives.

• Partner with your key stakeholders in HQ and the delivery leadership teams, operations teams and other Field focused teams to drive adoption of processes and tools.
• Provide valuable insights to the Services Quality Assurance (SQA) and Delivery Excellence Services (DES) organizations around lessons learned in order help drive continuous maturity improvements in the business from a deal structuring and delivery perspective.

Frameworks and standards: Work with the Delivery Excellence Services and Services Business Operations teams to establish and evolve solid frameworks and standards for change management.

 

Qualifications

Key Success Criteria and Competencies required:

• Demonstrated ability to lead large scale transformation and drive ongoing improvements in diverse customer, contracting, and Industry scenarios.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with technical and business leaders at all levels within large enterprises.
• Influencing stakeholders to achieve impact through collaboration, presence and strong communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multi-cultural environment.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

• Strategic thinking with the proven capability to contribute and execute a delivery strategy that resulted in quality delivery outcomes.
• Experience with diverse services business (Consulting, Premier and Offshore) functions is a definite plus.
• PMI® credentials in PMP®, CSM®/ PgMP® and knowledge of CMMi / ISO 9001 / TQM / Six Sigma processes is a plus.
• Prosci®, or other Change Management qualification.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher qualification in computer science, operations, business administration, or equivalent years of experience.
• 6+ years of program or project management experience in IT, operations or business.
• Ability to develop a strong understanding of the Microsoft Services organization and operations at all levels.

Location/Travel:

You may be based anywhere in the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) Time Zone, near an international airport. Travel can be expected to be approximately 25%.
