LEO Pharma is looking for a motivated Student Assistant to take up a position in Global Business Finance. You will be part of a small, energetic and high performing team consisting of 6 employees in HQ Commercial Business Finance. Our responsibilities are extensive and cover both strategic and operational activities regarding the financial discipline of Performance Management, Alliance Management, and Business Partnering. Our team and environment are characterized by being dynamic with focus on delivering strong business results, and we have experienced that a combination of hard work, an informal atmosphere, sense of humour and a culture based on respect is an excellent recipe for success.   

As a Student Assistant, you will be an integrated and important part of the team and you will get the opportunity to put your theoretical background into a practical context. You will be on a steep learning curve aligned with your competencies and greatly supported by the team.     

 

The primary tasks in your new role will be:

  • Support internal stakeholders with financial insights and analysis regarding sales and costs
  • Support financial month end activities
  • Establish and continuously develop monthly commercial reporting packages
  • Support the financial forecasting process
  • Develop PowerPoint presentations with focus on strong communication of key messages 
  • Develop and maintain the SAP setup for Global Marketing
  • Support business case development/follow up and support Alliance Management activities. 
  • Ad hoc tasks and participation in cross functional projects

 

Qualifications

You are studying finance or economics (cand. merc, cand. polit or similar), have at least one year left of your studies, and is able to work 15-20 hours per week (flexibility in exam periods). You are ambitious, highly responsible and curious by nature. As a person, you are proactive, eager to learn and ready to face challenges. You work in a structured way, have sense for details, but at the same time you are able to keep the big picture. You have a positive “can do” approach. 

 

Furthermore, it is important that you:

  • Take pride in delivering high quality results
  • Have strong analytical skills and a solid interest in finance
  • Thrive in a dynamic and changeable environment
  • Are fluent in oral and written English
  • Have strong MS Excel skills and are a solid user of PowerPoint
  • Have an interest in learning the functionalities of SAP
  • Like to be challenged, but at the same time you are also comfortable and satisfied by performing routine tasks

 

You will become part of an ambitious team within Global Business Finance, employing 75 employees globally. We are located in LEO Pharma’s Headquarter in Ballerup, Denmark.
