We are looking for an enthusiastic design management manager to join our Design Management Excellence team, which is responsible for developing and nurturing our world-renowned design organization. We are here to enable designers and leaders to do truly exceptional work. We mostly do this by planning and managing our creative processes to maximise the impact of design; improving collaboration between teams; providing tooling, frameworks and facilitating self-organisation to solve problems and enable innovation. Passionate about the impact of design

As a design management manager at LEGO®, you will drive and manage strategic design initiatives developed in collaboration with the design leadership team. With a focus on processes and tools, your goal will be to improve our work, maximise the impact of our design teams, and create a working environment and design culture that is inspiring, energising and collaborative.
You will be part of a dedicated and creative team, where you will:
• Plan and manage cross-functional design processes that support the strategic development of our product portfolio
• Actively gather insights and feedback from stakeholders across the LEGO Group to optimize current creative processes
• Increase efficiency, effectiveness and impact of designers and leaders, through updating, maintaining and implementation of tools, templates and working practices
• Facilitate experience sharing networks and drive design workshops
• Collaborate closely with a multi-disciplinary team in a creative, international and open-minded environment

You are a creative thinker and able to see the big picture

To be a successful design management manager at LEGO®, you enjoy working in a team, you want to learn, and you have a deep understanding of the design process. In addition:
• You are an exceptionally organised, creative problem solver who understands the value of testing and adapting based on evidence and user feedback
• You are great at building relationships and able to influence across teams, cultures and disciplines
• You are comfortable in creative and dynamic environments, able to make space for urgent as well as important priorities
• You are passionate about design and toys, have a high personal drive and enjoy taking initiative
• You have an innovative and strategic mind, which enables you to see beyond current ways of working, drive knowledge sharing, and implement change or refine processes when needed
• You have a can-do mindset and an ability to motivate others through your own passion, commitment and engagement
• You are an empathetic and clear communicator who can adjust their style to suit multiple audiences and stakeholders
• You have experience leading multiple work streams and projects ranging from quick sprints to long-running initiatives that require patience and time to mature
• You have leadership skills and capabilities to drive design processes
