Tinglev Local Finance/Accounting Ref.: MC-112338 Maersk Container Industry (MCI) is looking for an experienced Finance Controller to support our Finance function in Tinglev. A unique opportunity to become part of a department that is undergoing an exciting development. We Offer As Finance Controller for MCI you will work closely together with the other HQ functions in Tinglev and Copenhagen, as well as centralized Maersk Group functions. The position offers exciting opportunities to develop your financial, accounting and reporting skills in an international environment, in a growing business. The Finance Function is in a development phase where systems, processes and skills are continuously improved and new tools being implemented. You will play a significant role in continuing this development and contributing to its success. The position reports to the Financial and Accounting Manager in Tinglev. Key Responsibilities You will get responsibility within most financial areas including, but not limited to, monthly reporting, controlling, and forecasting. While this will be your main focus, you will also be expected to take part in the daily accounting process. Key to this position is to deliver accurate, relevant and timely reporting to management in MCI and Maersk Group functions. You will interact with different stakeholders, such as our management team in Tinglev and Copenhagen, as well as other MCI Finance functions abroad. Who we are looking for You hold a bachelor degree within finance or equivalent and have 3+ years of experience working in auditing or an international company. You have solid knowledge in the financial, accounting and tax area. You possess excellent reporting skills, where you are capable of combining an eye for detail with a holistic overview. As a person, you are both responsible and open to changes, enabling you to take the lead and drive change processes. You are a team player, able to successfully priorities multiple tasks and timelines, to accurately meet tight financial reporting deadlines. As you will be part of a global organization, it is a prerequisite that you are fluent in both written and verbal English.
