Do you want to lead the largest Market Data Team in the Nordics? And can you take responsibility of developing and optimizing Market Data across Nordea? The position we offer Based in Copenhagen the Head of Global Market Data has the leading and co-ordinating responsibility within the department. You will be responsible for sourcing, usage, optimisation, and compliance of Market Data. As Head of Global Market Data you have a wide mandate to secure that your team is as a trusted advisor within Nordea on all Market Data topics. Your responsibility is to plan, organise and manage the department´s designated business in accordance with the Nordea values, strategy, business plan – and the general and organisational principles prevailing. Your accountabilities: You will proactively meet the internal requirement and demand for Market Data by matching the best possible price, quality and service. Efficient Demand management will be achieved by securing close contact and high level of visibility to the internal users and a close cooperation with the internal stakeholders, e.g. in IT, Legal, Markets and the Technical team supporting our Market Data infrastructure. Vendor management – through tactical and close management of vendors, the department will maintain the right vendor composition to support the both long and short term needs of the business area. The acquisition of data and services should be balanced to optimize lowest price/highest discounts and avoid lock-in effects. Through close vendor relationships, the department will secure a high level of service in both the daily business and in the matters of urgency. Lifecycle management of contracts is to be managed efficiently and continuously amend and update contracts to reflect both current and future needs, and maintain compliance with vendor terms. You will be leading 6-7 employees according to Nordea values and leadership competences. As a leader you are expected to conduct a flexible and trustworthy leadership of the department, and attract, develop and retain highly competent, motivated and performance oriented employees. Furthermore you are responsible for measuring and tracking the result of the department and secure that financial goal are met, e.g. stay on or below budget. Finally where feasible and in the general interest of Nordea, you should proactively pursue and facilitate cooperation in the Market Data area across other business areas. The qualifications you need We are looking for a candidate who besides above mentioned challenges, are motivated by communicating, coaching and showing direction to your team. You are self-driven, pro-active, and analytical, take responsibility, are action- and result oriented and enjoy working in a dynamic environment.
