About the Department You will be part of Supply Chain integration, a team who employs 26 dedicated colleagues and is part of the Supply Chain Planning unit. The department’s main responsibilities are to integrate, harmonise and improve processes, systems and data within the supply chain areas; Planning, Purchasing (direct spend), warehousing and production. We support all Product Supply production facilities globally and have key stakeholders though the whole Supply Chain. We are working in an international and customer oriented way to secure fast and reliable support to our internal and external customers. The job You will be allocated to our strategic Supply Chain project ‘Purchase Planning’. You will be involved in designing, developing and implementing our future Purchase Planning processes in SAP APO and ECC. You will enter the project in the execution phase and, during the course of the project, you will build a very solid business, process and system understanding. Additionally, you will, after implementation of the project, play a central role in further developing, improving and maintaining the future purchase processes globally in Product Supply. Your key objective is to ensure that we, globally, are operating our purchase processes in our systems in a harmonised manner and that the operation is aligned with other relevant supply chain system processes. To succeed with your responsibility, change management will be key, since you must be able to coordinate, align and communicate internally with stakeholders at different levels, from users to senior management. As the processes you will work with are global you should expect approximately 1-3 business trips to our key stakeholders at the production sites per year. It is expected that you have the ability to develop your own expertise, explore various possibilities and structure your own work. This position will give you a unique opportunity for gaining valuable experience with the Novo Nordisk supply chain. Qualifications We expect you to have a higher education (preferably Master’s Degree) within a relevant discipline e.g. Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or alike, with approximately 5 years of supply chain experience. Additionally, you have gained experience within SAP APO and ECC. As a person you have a very high energy, a positive mind-set and are open towards other people and new ideas. You thrive in a dynamic and international environment with many simultaneous tasks and changing priorities, while staying focused on details and managing strict deadlines. You have excellent process understanding, an analytical mind-set and an ability to work independently and in a structured way. You must be fluent in English, both written and spoken.
