For our R&D Electrical Department in Brande, Denmark, we are looking for a Converter Application Engineer for our converter team. The right candidate can expect a position with exciting development opportunities. What are my responsibilities? · Coordinating application/project design activities · Coordinating and specifying improvement activities with our suppliers · Influencing and driving purchase specifications and documentation · Coordinating trouble shooting and root cause analysis of converters in field operation · Project management of converter warranty issues · Coordinating software and control activities with supplier/projects · Participating in QA Audits at suppliers facilities · Optimizing design in order to achieve higher quality/reliability What do I need to qualify for this job? · You are a B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or similar – wind turbine knowledge is an advantage · You have hands-on skills for converter applications · You have the ability to take ownership of requirement specification and documentation in general · You have knowledge of power conversion systems · You are able to review test documentation · You have the ability to operate cross-functional with a high number of interfaces · You have a structured, communicative and self-motivated approach to your tasks · You have strong communication and English skills both orally and in writing. Approx. 20 travel days a year must be expected In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated. What else do I need to know?
