Would you like to take up a position with exciting sourcing challenges where you will be in first line supporting our oil and gas business? Join us as Contract Manager in Group Procurement, where you will join a group of 200 skilled and dedicated colleagues. The department has developed its own training catalogue and training academy and all procurement specialists meet annually in procurement seminars. The department is part of our Group functions, which cover Group Support, Group Finance & Services and Group IT. In Group Finance & Services, we focus our efforts on supporting the entire business and ensuring that the company works as a professional, reliable and responsible company. You will be based at our office in Esbjerg. The job will entail close links to DONG Energy's other offices in Denmark, UK and Norway. Thus, you should expect some travelling in relation to your work. Areas of responsibility As Contract Manager, you will support our Exploration & Production (E&P) business unit with competitive sourcing and contracting of OPEX requirements, ensuring high utilisation of the agreements. You work with the various tasks within sourcing and contract management in a professional, proactive and timely manner. In this connection, your key responsibilities will be sourcing of larger requirements for E&P typically covering service contracts, spare parts and maintenance agreements, as well as engineering and consultancy services in the oil and gas industry. The sourcing process includes stakeholder management, negotiation, contracting, implementation and ensuring compliance of the agreement. Furthermore, your key duties will be to: conduct terminations and extensions of existing agreements in close coordination with the supplier and E&P optimise and develop the contract management setup in close coordination with the relevant Category Managers ensure that the content of the agreements with regards to legal matters, insurance and QHSE correspond to the requirements. Your profile You have extensive experience with competitive sourcing and negotiation of agreements and contracts, preferably from the oil and gas industry and thorough knowledge of procurement as a discipline. Further, you have an analytical mind set for change processes and a relevant commercial education, and you possess strong communication skills, including written and spoken English at business level. As a person you use your strong interpersonal and analytical skills to work in a changing environment and influence suppliers and a range of stakeholders across different locations and countries. You have business acumen, enabling you to develop an effective strategy for your area, ensuring security of supply and cost savings as well as high utilisation of your agreements and contracts. Finally, you have a structured working style, enabling you to steer and give input to business critical projects.
