Would you like to be part of our team of 2D Constructors who are supporting the designers by turning their ideas into reality before going into production? ECCO is seeking a committed and professional 2D Constructor who is able to collaborate with the designers to realize their ideas. This means that you need to help produce our prototypes and will participate in the dialogue with our Shoe Developers about what is technically possible. You have the opportunity to use all your shoe knowledge and experience to develop the products so they can be produced in our factories. Practical information: You will be based in Bredebro, Denmark, but can expect occasional international travel to our R&D department in Portugal and our global production units. We continuously assess applications. Job Profile: You will be part of an experienced team in our Technical Development Department, which is part of the R&D facility, located in ECCO's Headquarters (Bredebro). You will support our Designers and Shoe Developers in the development of the prototype shoes and work in a constantly changing and dynamic environment. As 2D Constructor your role will be to: Construct the prototype of uppers in 2D CAD, including ensuring compliance with ECCO standards Follow-up on initiated constructions Ensure efficient transition of prototype constructions to the production units Participate in the development and optimization of the department's workflow Qualifications and Work Experience: You will have completed a training Program in shoe construction and have acquired work experience in pattern making in a shoe company. The following qualifications are preferred: Technical or craftsman background in the shoe industry 2-3 years’ experience in using shoe modelling software Good skills in spoken and written English (knowledge of other languages would be an advantage). As person you are: A team player, with strong interpersonal skills. Driven and result-oriented. An independent and structured individual. Flexible and adaptable.
