Capital Markets - Senior System Support Specialist

Technology Operations is a newly created team within Capital Markets IT. The team’s mandate is to maximize operational stability for Capital Markets IT systems. By creating a centralised Service Desk approach for Capital Markets, we provide a Level 1 – 3 technical operations and infrastructure service for around 1000 internal clients. The position we offer This role is suited for a Senior System Support Specialist with strong knowledge in the Capital Markets IT area. Responsibilities include working within the ITIL processes framework; •in particular in request fulfilment as well as in Incident & Problem management. •You will find and/or apply solutions to incidents and help determine their root causes •This position is best suited to a candidate with a self-driven and engaged attitude, and the desire to continuously improve the support and services delivered to the organization The qualifications you need The position requires an excellent working knowledge on how to work in a Single Point of Contact environment within technical IT Support. You must know how to communicate with various levels of stakeholders, both within the organisation, and outside Nordea. You must have the ability to troubleshoot technical IT issues, while working under time pressure. We also expect you to have: •A broad knowledge in IT environments and a minimum of 10 years work experience. •A structured approach to tasks, issues and backlogs •The ability to challenge the current working processes, and improve them •Working knowledge of the Atlassian suite, in particular Confluence, Jira and/or Service Desk •Strong working knowledge of methodologies like DevOps, Scrum and Agile •A positive mindset and service minded approach •Project Management experience a plus •The ability to work under (time) pressure •Flexible regarding working hours and a shifting workload •ITIL foundation v3 certified •Scrum certification is a plus More information and send application For more information on the position please contact Daniel Studer, Head of Technology Operation at Daniel.Markus.Studer (at) nordea.dk
