An exciting time lies in store for us and we are now inviting experienced Test Engineers to join our team. The position we offer Nordea is a bank with a lot of data. Data is critical to our business and our customers. We harness the power of data to understand the needs of our customers provide our customers with a true digital experience through all our contact points with them and tailor our products to best meet their needs. Data is also our primary ammunition in the fight against wrong doing and bad behaviour as it powers our defensive capability in Risk, Fraud and Financial Crime. In Test Engineering we develop, maintain, test and evaluate big data solutions within Nordea’s next generation Big Data Platform. Test Engineering is also involved in the design of big data solutions matching Big Data capabilities to priority business challenges. The Test Engineer builds and manages the test process within our continuous delivery environment and should therefore have extensive experience in continuous integration and automated testing. Experience in automated testing on software platforms and large-scale data infrastructures is a must. Your responsibilities will include: •Perform automation of Acceptance, Unit, Functional, Integration, System, Regression, Performance and Security testing on Hadoop and other Big Data Platforms •Automate tests where possible and are repeatable and reliable •Work closely with Development team, release engineer and Product Management in a continuous delivery environment to improve efficiency and effectiveness of automation The qualifications you need You are a natural in navigating in a complex environment within the Big Data area and a data driven thinker. Furthermore, you have: •Excellent communication skills and experience of distributed global teams •Proficiency in managing automated functional and non-functional testing on large scale data infrastructure; •Solid grounding in Financial Service •A bachelor's degree You are skilled within: • Agile methodologies •Atlassian Suite: Bamboo, JIRA, Fisheye, Sonar, Git/Stash •Test framework: Robot, jMeter, jUnit, dbUnit •Configuration management: Puppets / Chef •Hadoop: YARN, Ambari, MR, Sqoop, Flume •Streaming technologies; Spark, Storm, Ni-Fi •Hadoop security: AD, Knox, Ranger, Kerberos, Sentry •Java, Scala, Python You will be joining a team in a highly international environment based in one of the Nordic capitals.
