Join us and become Senior Project Certification Engineer in our department Project Certification, which is responsible for achieving project certification for our construction projects in Germany, the United Kingdom and Denmark. We also support the development of certifiable standard building blocks acting as project certification experts in the product lines. Project Certification is part of Wind Power, which has 1400 employees and is one of four business units in DONG Energy. Wind Power is the world’s largest developer and operator of offshore wind power, and we use our unique knowledge in all phases of our wind turbine projects. During the last 20 years, we have developed and constructed the largest portfolio of offshore wind farms in Northern Europe. You may choose freely to be based either at our Danish office in Gentofte in the Greater Copenhagen area or at our German office in Hamburg on local terms and conditions. However, you should expect some travelling in relation to your work. Areas of responsibility Acting as a Project Certification Manager in an asset project, you are in charge of planning and coordinating all project certification related activities. You are assigned to one or more projects that you follow from the initial planning through transfer of the project to operations. In addition, you are responsible for one or more cross project assignments related to the further development and standardisation of project certification aimed at optimising value and reducing overall cost of electricity. Furthermore, your key duties will be to: •coordinate and drive project certification activities in a specific asset project •act as project certification subject matter expert in the product lines during development of standard building blocks •participate in relevant technical standardisation bodies •contribute to the further standardisation of project certification activities •act as the department's super user of selected project certification IT tools or processes. Your profile You have a master of science degree in engineering or similar and solid experience with type certification of wind turbines and/or project certification of offshore wind farms. Furthermore, you have a profound and updated understanding of the different certification schemes, such as IEC 61400-22, and basic knowledge of relevant standards and rules used in design and installation of wind farms. You speak English fluently and it is an advantage if you master one or more of the following languages: Danish, French, German, or Dutch. As a person, you have excellent communication and negotiations skills and thrive on teamwork with many interfaces in the organisation. You pay attention to detail and work with a dedicated and responsible approach focusing on adding value and creating results.
