Lyngby / Local / Finance-Economics / Ref.: MD-070135 We are looking for an ambitious colleague with strong competencies within Finance Processes to take up the role of Business Process Team Lead in Maersk Drilling's head quarter. We Offer As Business Process Team Lead in Centre Finance you will be responsible for a team of finance process owners who are focused on streamlining finance processes for MD. You will work with stakeholders across functions on improving these processes. You will have a very visible role and you will have a large area of contact towards both the Rig Team finance organisations and towards HQ. There will be a team member responsible for each finance process, and you will be the owner and main driver on the end-to end processes in Finance. The role as process owner is a strong platform for pursuing further career opportunities within Finance. It will help to develop your leadership skills and ERP expertise, and will therefore strengthen your profile towards a Finance Leadership role. You can expect to be challenged and learn a lot from requirements and ideas coming out of all Rig Teams and from other HQ functions. As such the position can take your capabilities further and strengthen your ability to operate in a global perspective. We are in the midst of an ERP implementation. The BPO is expected to work closely with the project team members and act as a sparring partner and support function to realize the objectives of the implementation. Key Responsibilities • Managing the team of BPOs, incl. support, coaching and development • Process mapping with focus on implementing efficiency and seamless handover between processes • Training of team members and Finance organization • Managing internal priorities to support Finance function priorities • Support organisation and decide on change requests received • Process and procedure landscaping/documentation • Review and manage process stability • Stakeholder management, working with various stakeholders within and outside of Finance • Communication and change management when processes are improved • Managing Global Service Centre (India) to support increased outsourced processes Who we are looking for You have a minimum of 5-6 years experience within Finance and 1-2 years within Business Processes. You hold a Bachelor in Finance or have equivalent education. You are a considerable driver and thrive on taking ownership and responsibility of challenging new tasks. You know how to lead a team of ambitious and competent people while you act as a role model. You are a good colleague and take part in creating a good working environment. You have an in depth process understanding and ability to change and improve process design. You are able to analyse and solve problems and initiate and implement changes, working in a structured and well-organised manner. You are innovative and able to grasp the big picture from a global perspective. You are an effective communicator who can drive the necessary changes and you are comfortable with communicating at all levels in a global organisation – and also know when to listen to demands and concerns from the same. A professional but welcoming attitude is key mean of success in this position. You easily adapt to change and thriving with a high volume of work you know how to deliver under pressure.
