About this job As a native applications engineer you will be joining our technical staff to work on our cutting-edge iOS and Android applications, changing the way people experience Issuu in the mobile environment. Responsibilities • Build exciting new experiences on our iOS and Android clients • Work closely with the product, design and engineering teams • Rapidly fix bugs and solve problems • Conduct design and code reviews Requirements • BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience • Excellent OO programming skills in Objective-C or Java • Experience building applications in memory and bandwidth-constrained systems • Passion for delivering great user experience • Experience tuning performance of client applications • Strong communication and documentation skills • Work residence in DK/EU Desired • iOS or Android SDK experience • Ability to innovate and partner with our design team to build multiple prototypes quickly • Experience releasing successful mobile applications to the Apple App store or Android Marketplace • Experience with multiple mobile platforms Benefits • Competitive compensation package • A sleek mac and a pretty sweet desk setup • You’ll be a part of Issuu, an amazing place with room for parents, vegetarians, geeks, weirdos and the occasional normal guy • Expect to get better at tabletennis, Guitar Hero and cross-town running How to apply Please send your CV and references to job1 (at) issuu.com.
