Your challenges
As an architect at VELUX, you will take responsibility of designing the best solutions for different projects with a focus on creating bright and energy-efficient buildings. You will be involved in all aspects of the projects – including initial partner sales meetings where you present our ideas for VELUX product programme solutions and ensure full connections with partners and their value chain.
Your tasks will include:
- Supporting our many VELUX sales companies and external partners by developing projects, joining meetings, proposing new concepts and providing advice for daylight and ventilation solutions
- Designing project specifications and technical drawings to improve indoor climates as well as calculating budgets, materials and deadlines
- Carrying out assessments and inspections throughout and at the end of projects
- Communicating flaws or other issues that may arise to appropriate stakeholders
- Photographing finished projects and handling other marketing-related tasks

Your qualifications
Experience is not a prerequisite for this position. However, it is important that you are outgoing, good at building professional relationships and interested in the sales aspect of this position. You thrive in sales meetings and conferences and are not afraid to upsell or pitch in with your ideas. You are also curious and eager to develop your project management skills, so that you may one day take on projects of your own. You bring:
- A degree in architecture or similar
- Experience with relevant programmes such as AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, Revit and the like
- Fluent English capabilities as well as either French, German or Spanish for everyday use
- The ability to travel frequently – about 90 days per year
Your opportunities
We have many international partners and clients placed all over the world. Although you will have a desk at our office in Hørsholm to call your own, you will travel frequently to work face-to-face and develop building projects together with our VELUX colleagues and project business partners.
