Your new job
As our Information Security Officer you will assume the overall responsibility for information security at Neas Energy. You will be the advocate for our information security requirements, and you will be responsible for the development and delivery of a comprehensive information security strategy to optimize posture in our organisation. 
 
Your initiatives within compliance includes processing personal information, security certifications, physical security, IT security, security tests and security awareness in our organisation. Your success will be important for our continued success, and you will be responsible for the implementation, improvement and maintenance of our information Security Management and Contingency setup.
 
You will work in close collaboration with several departments in the organisation; Ethics & Compliance, Legal, IT, Facility Management and the different business units. You will also be responsible for the communication to the Group Security Operations team in Centrica. You will report to the Chief Information Officer in the senior management team in Neas Energy.
 
You will be responsible for the following areas:

   - Develop and implement an overall strategy for information security
   - Secure our ISO27001 implementation
   - Implementation and administration of the Neas Information Security Management System
   - Secure compliance with current legislation for personal data (GDPR)
   - Safeguard of facilities, access control and other matters in Aalborg and offices in Germany (physical security)
   - Increase level of awareness regarding security in our organisation including development and maintenance of IT policies and contingency plans
   - IT Security and information security in general
   - Provide security clearance of employees
   - Test and improvement initiatives within your relevant areas of responsibility
   - Communication with relevant stakeholders including authorities and customers
   - Asset, Risk and Vulnerability handling and management
   - Security Incident handling and management

Reporting on overall information security and contingency status to senior management, group functions and authorities

The ideal candidate 
You have a relevant higher education or other business education combined with experience from similar positions from other international companies. Through earlier positions, you can document having achieved significant goals and improvements within the Information Security area. 
 
What we expect from you:

   - Have knowledge and experience with the ISO27000 series, preferably 27001 and 27002 
   - Can communicate efficiently on all levels of the organisation, 
   - Have previous international business experience 
   - Have change management skills
   - Experience with risk management and mitigation  action
   - Have an excellent understanding of IT processes 
   - Are certified within the Information Security area e.g. CISSP or CISM
   - Have knowledge about and understanding of the General Data Protection Regulation
   - Have experience from the energy or banking industry (preferable but not a must)

You can work independently, but are also a team player, you are extrovert and understand to communicate and build relations in close cooperation with all stakeholders you are going to work with.
