Scio+ is a small young company that strives to make a positive difference in the food industry by building software that allows businesses to optimise their production by taking advantage of data science and machine learning.
How we do software development at Scio+
We are an international and highly skilled team of software developers and data scientists that develop the best solutions for the industry, working together across backgrounds and competences. We do weekly iterations, focusing the work on what adds value to the customer. Everyone on the team contributes to deploying valuable features to our production environments several times a week—provided we are happy with the changes in the staging environments of course.
Examples of technologies that we would like you to embrace are:
- Cloud infrastructure built using AWS
- Dockerized back–end microservices written in Groovy, Python, R and Spring
- React and MaterialUI for frontend development
- Security–by–design architecture
- Continuous integration and deployment using the Atlassian stack
Maybe you do not know all these technologies already, but we expect you to be curious to learn and naturally take deep dives into technical discussions across the stack and across the teams.
Your profile
You have an open and positive attitude towards your colleagues, and you are inherently ambitious about your work and what we can achieve together. You like to challenge us so we can all improve. We imagine you have a Master in Computer Science or a related field, but more importantly you can demonstrate that you are a developer at heart.
