Clinical Development Centre Denmark (CDC DK) is a new organisation in the Clinical Research Department in Novo Nordisk Scandinavia AB, the Danish Affiliate of Novo Nordisk. The CDC DK is responsible for managing back-office activities, such as project management and administrative tasks related to conduct of the clinical trials in close collaboration with the adjacent affiliates across EU North and Central (Belgium, Netherlands, Austria, Switzerland, Ireland, Finland, Norway, Sweden and Denmark) and we are looking for Clinical Trial Administrators to join us.

 

About the department

In CDC DK we are approximately 10-15 highly skilled and ambitious employees, Trial Managers and Clinical Trial Administrators. We are responsible for planning, execution and finalisation of clinical trial activities. We collaborate with our colleagues in the Novo Nordisk affiliates in the EU North and Central area, with Region Europe and Global Development in HQ. The position

As Clinical Trial Administrator you will be an essential member of the CDC DK team supporting the clinical trial planning, execution and finalisation across the EU North and Central area by performing administrative tasks. By use of your structured approach and high quality mind-set you will be part of the team responsible for the clinical trial document handling in accordance with standard operational procedures. This also includes uploading, coordination, updating of information, indexing and Quality Control of trial documents in our different IT systems as well as IT project tools.

In addition you will support the trial team with ad hoc tasks as needed. You will be collaborating with Clinical Research Associates in the adjacent affiliates, Trial Managers in the CDC and colleagues in Global Development.

Further you will be responsible for coordinating contact to external stakeholders when needed, complete minutes and provide general support. You will set up and maintain shared mailboxes and folders used by the trial teams for sharing trial related documents as well as contribute to the preparation of PowerPoint presentations and local meetings. Reporting temperature deviations and coordinating trial master file preparation is also part of the role.

 

Qualifications

You have at least 2-3 years’ experience in an administrative position, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry and knowledge within the area of Clinical Trials. You have flair for using IT systems including MS Office as well as knowledge, flair and interest for working with Document Management and administration. You have a strong service mind-set, are able to work independently in a structured and pro-active manner as well as part of the different trial teams. It is important that you can manage deadlines and work with multiple priorities and countries using good communication and collaboration skills, keep a focus on details and at the same time maintain overview and quality.
