CMC is looking for a Technician for Manufacturing Would you like to join CMC’s exiting development in an informal and challenging environment? As our new Technician you will have a unique opportunity to be involved in projects transcending from clinical trial to commercial manufacturing. The Manufacturing department is a professional and dedicated group consisting of three project teams and one support team. At our multiproduct facilities in Copenhagen we offer you the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art equipment and the newest technologies. You will experience a dynamic working environment with a high variety of tasks where cGMP production never becomes routine. The Department You will be part of one of the three project teams and your primary responsibilities will be in upstream and preparation processing. The team consists of scientists and technicians - with upstream and downstream processing know how, working together on execution of processes from thaw of vial to final fill. In upstream we are working with microbiological technology and operate both single-use disposable and large-scale steel bioreactors disposable and we are responsible for recovery of API. Responsibilities and tasks A big part of your role will be to participate in the execution of microbial processes according to cGMP. This includes: • Daily operation of microbial processes in both small and large scale and generation of GMP data. • Participate in maintaining equipment and microbial facilities in compliance with CMC GMP policies. • Contribute to the implementation of new processes in close cooperation with department scientists. • Work with our engineering and validation teams regarding implementation and qualification of new equipment, control, calibration and maintenance of existing equipment. • On-call duties Experience and competencies You have a technical and/or a laboratory background and you bring some of the following competencies and experiences: • Experience with cultivation of microbial or mammalian cell cultures in production scale. • Experience with handling of shakers flasks, homogenizer, centrifuge and bioreactors. • You are interested in expanding your technical skills. • Experience with aseptic techniques. • Experience with cGMP. • You have a positive attitude and think proactively. • You are dynamic with the ability to operate and manage changes. • You have the ability to keep the overview and make prioritization also when you are busy. • You are a goal oriented team player and have good communication skills.
