For our Offshore BOP Innovation department, we are looking for a dedicated Technical Project Manager. You will become part of a dynamic innovation environment where we work with the latest and most advanced technologies within foundation and grid infrastructure solutions contributing to cost effective future green energy solutions.

What are my responsibilities?

As a Technical Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing large scale publically and/or internally funded development projects, following the Siemens Gamesa development processes.

The project team consists of a group of specialists within substructures, electrical grid connection systems as well as cable technology. You have a good technical understanding together with solid project management skills. Your role furthermore includes the following points:

  • Management of internal and external projects
  • Management of stakeholders such as external design partners in the projects, external production partners, public funders, SGRE Management, internal partners and contributors
  • Management of application processes
  • Progress reporting to funding sources
  • Sparring with design engineers and specialists
  • Concept reviews and design reviews
  • Time planning
  • Cost planning and monitoring project and design risk assessments

What do I need to qualify for this job?

  • You have a bachelor or master in Engineering
  • You have strong communication and English skills, both orally and in writing
  • You are able to present technical information in an understandable way to different stakeholders inside and outside the organization
  • You have experience in the development of mechanical design and project management
  • You have high analytical skills, a strong understanding of physics and are able to combine that with common sense
  • You are outgoing and proactive, and you possess the ability to work both independently and in teams
  • You are structured and innovative, you think out of the box and challenge existing solutions while your approach to task solving is both technically sound and commercially viable
