The digital age is here and a lot of initiatives are taking place not only on external facing platforms but also internally within Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy (SGRE). Furthermore we have to integrate digitalization initiatives from two legacy organizations into one. In Global Sales Excellence (SE BU) we are therefore in need of a strong Business Analyst that will help drive digital tools initiatives supporting our global sales organization and ensuring that tools/systems are all integrated. 

Our new Business Analyst will have multiple key stakeholders but will be the key interface to SGRE IT organization with the responsibilities of optimizing business processes by capturing, analyzing and documenting requirements for process and system developments while reviewing and providing input to new solutions and then coordinating and supporting the communication and delivery of those requirements with relevant parties.

The position is based in Service Sales Excellence (SAX) and you will report directly to the Head of Sales Excellence. SAX is a corporate function within Product Line Sales & Marketing. You will join a team of highly dedicated individuals and as a team SAX is responsible for Global Service Sales Process, Sales Tools (CRM and Customer Portal) and Sell (at) Service (global sales training). 

What are my responsibilities?

Strategy and Planning:
-    Investigate new request for work to determine high level business requirements and assess feasibility

-    Support the creation of robust and compelling project proposals and business cases

-    Support ongoing development and implementation of business analysis and business solutions design methods, tools and practices

-    Stay on top of trends in technical solutions including new platforms, capabilities and tools.        

Business Demand Management:
-   Understanding the business needs and facilitating the negotiation of requirements amongst multiple stakeholders

-   Deep-dive into business processes and understanding core needs

-   Carry out analysis of impact, risks, technical dependencies and review/validate expected benefits

-   Analyze, design and document the as-is to to-be process, performing gap analysis and identifying areas for improvement, including assess & communicate impact of proposed solution on the organization

-   Creating, analyzing, and validating detailed functional specifications

-   Facilitate user acceptance, testing of system changes and support change projects through to successful delivery, implementation and operation against pre-determined acceptance criteria

-   Manage projects, coordinating project approvals and funding, stakeholder document reviews, manage external developer progress and internal testing       

Change Management
-   Understand the full impact that technology solutions will have on the business and advise on how the associated change should be managed and communicated

-   Support and ensure the business in undertaking the necessary preparation activities to allow process changes to be successfully embedded, including training and communication materials  

What do I need to qualify for this job?
·    You have +5 years business systems analysis experience for large projects or programs of work, and/or related Wind industry business experience

·    You have a BA or MA degree (ideally in a traditional field like the sciences, engineering, technology or economics)

·    You have experience in the development of documentation of business process, requirements and business cases in both technical and non-technical language, clearly articulating benefits

·    You have experience in conducting interviews and workshops for requirement gathering and validation including working with internal customers and both internal and external technical experts

·    You have knowledge of information systems development, testing principles, project methodologies and practices

·    You are customer focused, setting high standards for quality, work systematically and methodically for consistently achieving project goals

·    You are able to adapt to change, accepting new ideas and initiatives and makes positive use of the opportunities presented

·    You can establish and maintain constructive and collaborative business relationships with all business areas and other Business Application functions

·    You demonstrate pragmatic judgement, balancing pace, risk and business value to reach decisions which are well informed and actionable

·    You are self-motivated, creative, passionate and able to acclimate into a fast-paced dynamic environment
