About the department

 

The travel team is based in Corporate Procurement which is responsible for the sourcing and operation of indirect spend in Novo Nordisk and defining and driving the Global Procurement strategy.

Corporate Procurement consists of 110 employees based in Denmark. We promote a global mind-set, dedication to business partnering and a relentless focus on creating rewarding careers for our people. Corporate Procurement is anchored with direct report to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Novo Nordisk. 

 

The position

 

In this position you will manage a team of 11 employees who are responsible for the operation of travel related activities. Further, you will engage in dialogue with the sourcing organisation within our global procurement organisation to drive compliance to corporate agreements. You will be expected to drive knowledge sharing and best practice insights both internally and externally.

 

As a global organisation you will be a key driver for global standardisation and our effort to ensure world class performance. Outstanding customer service, high efficiency & effectiveness as well as a strong collaboration and constant innovation are expected deliverables.

 

Qualifications

 

Master degree in business administration, finance, supply chain or similar is required for this role. A minimum 2 years of relevant management/leadership experience is expected. You should have proven process optimization experience along with cross functional leadership skills and the ability to build relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
