Obtain valuable insights into the assurance functions in Novo Nordisk whilst developing your analytical skills and understanding of key business processes. About the department The Novo Nordisk Way of Assurance Office (NNWoAO) is responsible for aligning assurance activities across Novo Nordisk. NNWoAO is responsible for the annual risk assessment and planning of Novo Nordisk’s corporate audits within Finance, IT, Business Ethics, Quality Audits and Facilitation (audits of the Novo Nordisk Way) globally. In addition, NNWoAO is also responsible for offshoring of the department’s services to the Global Service Center (GSC) in Bangalore. NNWoAO is part of Business Assurance, which includes Group Internal Audit, Business Ethics Compliance Office, Facilitation and Organisational Audit. In total, Business Assurance employs +65 people. The job We offer an exciting job opportunity, which will give you valuable business insights into how Novo Nordisk conducts assurance across the entire global organisation. You will support NNWoAO with reoccurring processes such as time registration, unit feedback, planning, preparation of offsites and training sessions, as well as other ad hoc tasks depending on your profile. Furthermore, you will support strategic initiatives, as well as taking part in creating workflows and user guides to ensure successful offshoring to the GSC in Bangalore. You will be part of a team of three dedicated colleagues in Denmark and three colleagues based in Bangalore. The work environment is dynamic and informal. NNWoAO is based in Bagsværd (Denmark) and the average work hours are 15-20 hours per week. The preferred start date is 1 May 2015 and the position is time-limited and will end on 31 December 2015 with a possibility of an extension. Qualifications You are on your final year of a Bachelor’s degree or pursuing a Master’s degree within business, management, economics, or similar with strong results. You have strong MS Excel and PowerPoint skills and are fluent in written and spoken English. You are analytical, high-performing, detail-oriented and able to deliver independently on your tasks.
