About the department Clinical Operations, Insulin & Devices-3 is a department comprised of International Trial Managers and Clinical Trial Administrators who are working with products developed for the treatment of diabetes. Our main tasks include planning, conducting and finalisation of clinical trials. Our organisation is project-centric and internally we work in cross-functional teams typically including medical science, data management and statistics. Our key external stakeholders are colleagues from affiliates and investigators. The Clinical Operations, Insulin & Devices-3 department is part of Global Development located in Søborg. The job As Global Recruitment & Retention Manager you will be responsible for driving recruitment in close cooperation with the paediatric and adolescence trial teams. Hence, you will function as an expert for recruitment & retention procedures and processes within trial management. You will be responsible for the identification of potential recruitment & retention problems, and in cooperation with the trial teams secure fast actions and solutions including mitigation plans. You will during your work develop and keep a paediatric recruitment & retention toolbox, and you will be responsible for sharing better practices between projects in Novo Nordisk A/S. As Global Recruitment & Retention Manager you will have a International Trial Manager Specialist position, and must be capable of mentoring other staff in executing trial management tasks. Travelling As Global Recruitment & Retention Manager you will have significant travelling activities visiting trial sites and local affiliates. During travels you will participate in various meetings and be responsible for presenting, discussing and solving recruitment and retention plans and issues. Qualifications You have a relevant educational background, preferably a university degree in Natural Science or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years of experience in trial management related positions. You have a broad knowledge of clinical trial methodology and experience from working in a project organisation. You must have in depth experience with subject recruitment & retention as well as vendor and contract management. You have a strong quality mind-set, communicate effectively with high impact, meet deadlines, approach tasks in a structured way and you are able to work with multiple and frequently changing priorities in a dynamic environment. Furthermore, you have the ability to work independently. You are a dedicated team player who inspires trust amongst colleagues and partners. You have excellent cross cultural awareness and are fluent in written and spoken English.
