Do you want to use and develop your technical knowledge in SAP FI / CO in a truly global context? Do you have strong understanding of financial processes and functionalities? Do you want to participate in ensuring that changes and developments are kept within the standard solution? Then, you are offered an exciting role as part of a team with highly technically skilled and process oriented people that cover the whole SAP Suite. The team is characterised by combining technical knowledge with a business oriented focus, making designs and overseeing changes, and delegating actual configurations and developments. The position is located in Copenhagen and with direct report to the Director for Application Architecture. Delivering solution architectural design for end-to-end processes and acting as advisor As Solution Architect, you will assist in defining business requirements and assisting in non standard service requests, where you will provide in-depth knowledge about processes and applications. With your strong technical knowledge, you will act as advisor to Enterprise Architects and assist in portfolio prioritisation together with the Business Process Director for FI / CO. You will also support the application consolidation process in ensuring that IT solution design is compliant with IT strategies and roadmaps. Some of your other responsibilities will be to: •Design application solutions that meet the business requirements. •Define the migration path between the as-is and the to-be application solution architecture. •Perform pre-studies and feasibility studies for your area, incl. impact analysis and risk assessment analysis. •Exploit design options and make recommendations for choice of design. •Perform application portfolio steering and control for optimisation and maintenance of applications. •Facilitate integration topics in the end-to-end process. •Identify required releases, service packs, versions, extensions, etc. Experience in SAP FI/CO, providing solution architecture and design As a person, you are communicative and extrovert, and with the ability to adapt your communication to suit the target audience. You are change-oriented and focused on optimizing and improving solutions to fit customer needs, and you are motivated when you can deliver results that make a difference for others’ work. You are organized and planned, and can prioritize and keep focus on urgent matters. Working with tight deadlines with attention to details present no problem for you, and you can cope with a sometimes hectic environment. Your professional skills include: •More than 5 years of experience working with SAP FI/CO on a detailed technical level. •Configuration experience is an advantage, and otherwise you understand the functional modules, tables, etc. •Preferably solution architecture and design experience. •Good understanding and experience of Financial and Controlling functionality supporting end-to-end flows. •Expected travel days are 50 days per year. •Fluency in English, verbally and in writing. A team with strong focus on globalizing processes and structures in an organization with an ambitious IT agenda You will be joining Application Architecture that primarily supports Western Europe, and to a limited extent Eastern Europe and Asia. There is a team of 12 experienced Solution Architects covering different functional processes, and there will be good opportunity for knowledge-sharing and teamwork. Application Architecture is part of Global Design, which is an organization making the design and solutions for Carlsberg’s diversified system landscape.
