About the department Every day, we execute significant purchases and ensure optimum procurement in Novo Nordisk’s large and tangible investment projects. Our purchases range from constructions and buildings over critical production equipment to engineering services. In 2014, we managed spend for DKK ~3,4bn. “We”, that is a team of 16, having diverse backgrounds and sharing an engaged, people focused culture. Together, we assist our customers on all global production sites throughout Novo Nordisk. The job Within this position, you will evolve into a natural centre of rotation. On a daily basis, you will be responsible for drafting and reviewing contracts based on inputs from our category and procurement managers. You will ensure that both - we and our customers - are in compliance with company processes and requirements. You will manage contract documents from commencements to completion and contract closure. In our systems SAP and Ariba, you will create purchase orders, manage supplier data and you will furthermore provide knowledge and insights from those systems to your colleagues and customers. In addition, you will be executing various ad hoc tasks and provide departmental support, including the preparation of PowerPoint presentations and Excel analyses. This job will offer the opportunity for continuous learning and further development of your knowledge from a mix of collaboration with highly experienced colleagues as well as increasing complexity in your tasks – all of this in a challenging and competitive environment. Qualifications We are looking for a candidate with procurement experience, preferably from the pharmaceutical industry, other complex industries or with a background in business analysis. Alternatively, you are a recent graduate from business school or university and have a keen interest for all aspects of professional procurement. The ideal candidate is analytical and structured, has an eagle’s eye for details and the ability to handle many tasks simultaneously, fast and efficiently. Good general IT skills are essential. Above that, great people skills are a necessity, alongside with business English at high level. Your relevant educational background is very likely at master level.
