Analytical Development technician for HPLC analysis

The department In Analytical Development (AD) we seek a skilled new colleague to work with us. AD is a part of the development area in CMC with a large interface to Quality Control. The department consists of 8 technicians, 4 scientists and 1 manager and has 4 main work areas: • Support for upstream- and downstream process development activities through analyzing samples with different HPLC and characterization methods. • Securing that an adequate set of analytical methods is implemented in relation to each customer project. This is secured by evaluating CMC generic analytical methods on samples from the individual projects, by transfer of methods from the customers as well as development of new methods. • Transfer of developed methods to QC. • Participation in troubleshooting of methods. Tasks and Responsibilities • Development/adaptation/transfer of HPLC and characterization assays for external customer in collaboration with the scientists. • Execution of a variety HPLC methods incl. CIEX, SEC, ProL, HIC, RPC and CE-SDS to evaluate the production process related to the upstream- and downstream processes. • Reporting of results incl. data handling. • Documentation in accordance with our Quality system. • Participation in transfer of methods to QC. • Responsibility for equipment e.g. logbooks, service planning and re-qualification. • Participate in inter-departmental collaboration. Your Profile You are educated as a lab technician or equivalent combined with practical experience with HPLC, and CE. You bring experience in some of the following areas: • Minimum 5 years of experience with HPLC. • Experience with equipment responsibility combined with technical flair. • Good documentation practice is necessary and experience with GMP will be an advantage. • Likes both development and routine assignments. • Performs optimally in a busy work environment with many different assignments simultaneously. • Has flair for team work combined with the ability to work independently • Write and speak English on a professional work level. • Drive.
