Would you like to help us ensure prudent project management governance when executing asset integrity projects across our Northern European offshore wind portfolio? Join us and become Project Controller in Asset Integrity Projects. The department is responsible for managing large-scale and complex asset integrity projects across the operating wind farms. Asset Integrity Projects is part of Wind Power, which has 1400 employees and is one of four business units in DONG Energy. Wind Power is the world’s largest developer and operator of offshore wind power, and we use our unique knowledge in all phases of our wind turbine projects. During the last 20 years, we have developed and constructed the largest portfolio of offshore wind farms in Northern Europe. You may choose freely to be based either at our office in Skærbæk near Fredericia or in Gentofte in the Greater Copenhagen area. However, you should expect some travelling in relation to your work. Areas of responsibility As Project Controller, you will be a part of a project management team, where you will be supporting each member of the team, ensuring that prudent project management governance is applied to all asset integrity projects being initiated and executed. You will act as the focal point for the department as regards compliance with the Project Management Model, ie applying the decision governance gate model to the pipeline of asset integrity projects, including relevant tools and templates to be used by the project managers. Moreover, you will be expected to continuously ensure the model being evaluated and improved, if required, in consultation with the team and its project managers. Consequently, it is essential that you have excellent coordination and communication skills and work in a very structured and result-oriented manner. Furthermore, your key duties will be to: maintain the content of the Project Decision Governance Model and all associated gate deliverables develop standard tools and guidelines for project managers be the focal point for the business budgeting processes representing the department carry out cross-project cost and time schedule analysis support the project managers on daily cost controlling and forecasting. Your profile You have a bachelor of science or preferably a master of science degree in finance, business administration or equivalent. You also have relevant knowledge of and experience with financial budgeting and controlling. As we operate in an international environment, it is essential that you have good English skills and speak and write English fluently. It will also be beneficial if you have good interpersonal skills as you will be navigating in many different types of environment with a wide range of different people. You are a dynamic professional, and you are able to find both constructive and practical solutions to all kinds of operational and technical challenges. Additionally, you have experience from working in multi-disciplinary teams. You are also a proactive player who thrives on sharing your knowledge and expertise with your colleagues in order to contribute actively to the development and improvements within the field of offshore wind farms and asset integrity management.
