Are you a business or controlling professional with strong people skills and an international mind-set? And would you like to be in charge of financial controlling for Holland, Belgium and Finland? Join External Reporting Europe External Reporting is responsible for all reporting for LEGO System A/S and the European Sales companies. You will be based in Billund and become part of External Reporting Europe where you join a team of 6 dedicated professionals. Here, you will be responsible for financial controlling for Holland, Belgium and Finland. As Financial Controller, you will get to work in an international and exciting environment where you will be exposed to 3 different countries/cultures, types of legislation and ways of doing reporting and controlling. As such, you will work closely with the Business Controller and stakeholders both in Billund and in the countries. Since we have external collaboration partners on location in the countries, there will be limited travelling in this position. This Maternity cover lasts for 1 year. Take charge of controlling for Holland, Belgium and Finland Your main tasks include monitoring month end processes, ensuring that we close the books in time and maintain a high quality level. Also, you handle controlling of the Month End Binder and Balance Sheet accounts in order to ensure correct accounting and proper documentation. At the same time, you prepare financial statements and contact auditors regarding year end audits, tax audits etc. Part of your mission is to ensure that internal and external reporting deadlines are met and that we maintain a constructive dialogue and close collaboration with all relevant stakeholders within the organisation. More specifically, you work with external consultants in Holland, Belgium and Finland on projects and tasks and a key challenge will be to understand and cope with the cultural differences and language barriers in these countries. Outgoing business profile with an international mind-set You hold a master's or diploma degree within economy/bookkeeping, e.g. a Msc in Business Economics and Auditing or a Graduate Diploma in Business Administration (Financial and Management Accounting), paired with 3-5 years' experience from a controlling position. You thus have solid specialist knowledge within financial controlling and SAP, and your Excel skills are above average. Your English is at a high level both written and spoken and you have strong Excel and SAP skills. As a person, you are outgoing and enjoy working with and motivating other people. At the same time, you are flexible and do not mind serving as a back-up for colleagues and you understand the value of working together and solving problems as a team.
