Key responsibilities

You will take on the accountability to ensure quality across R&D projects. You are expected to make balanced judgments, find opportunities, and have a high level of communication to support and challenge the project manager, backed up by your high level of data driven analytical ability.

Some of your tasks will include:
• Challenging and supporting project manager in qualification
and approval tests (APQP)
• Coordinating approval of new suppliers and new parts in
collaboration with procurement
• Coordinating quality actions agreed with suppliers in projects
• Facilitating and driving D-FMEA’s
• Investigating and integrating previous lessons learned from
customer claims.

We are looking for

You have a minimum of 5 years’ experience and a proven track record in a similar role in quality assurance within product development, preferably within heavy industry. You also possess in-depth knowledge of FMEA processes, APQP, and stage gate project models.

Furthermore, you have a relevant master engineering degree (e.g. production, mechanical, etc.) as well as Six Sigma knowledge.

You are highly fluent in written and spoken English in addition to your very high level of communications skills. Furthermore, you are data driven and have experience in the application of quality tools into product development.
