Engineering > Project Management Office > Project Management – ELEC, ISM, PSYou will be part of the centralized project management organization in Vestas Power Solutions with about 100 professional project managers. The projects are in VP areas Electrical Engineering and Data Engineering & Analytics, and you will be leading end-to-end projects in the full Value Chain. 
The projects have significant business impact and you will balance a large project budget, and you must be proficient in risk management to ensure that business critical decisions are fact-based.
Your base will be in Aarhus, DK but you are expected to travel to Vestas sites internationally, when needed.The project management function in Vestas Power Solutions is setting the standard for project management, and as Senior Project Manager you will have a large and direct impact on Vestas performance and the output from Vestas Power Solutions.  
ResponsibilitiesYour key responsibilities include to:

• Organize, budget, plan and execute large Electrical or Data projects, end-to-end 
• Set up an effective organization of your projects 
• Interface and communicate with a large range of stakeholders in the entire value chain
• Supervise other project managers and leads/coordinators in your projects
• Ensure delivery within time, quality and cost targets
• Contribute to development of project maturity

QualificationsYou aspire to become a successful project manager of complex cross-functional innovation or development projects and you have the following qualifications:

• Engineering degree or other relevant educational background
• Documented experience of working with integrated projects in a matrix organization with multi-disciplinary teams 
• Experience as project manager leading through sub projects or sub teams
• At least 4-5 years documented Project Management Experience
• Stakeholder management and risk management at a highly professional level
• Strong business acumen and understanding of how critical project decisions impacts Vestas business goals

CompetenciesThe candidate should:

• Be a strong communicator targeting the relevant audience in the organization
• Have strong leadership skills
• Be well organized and disciplined in executing projects
• Be a pro-active and outgoing team player
• Be willing to travel occasionally outside of Denmark (depending on specific project requirements)
• Have experience in engineering for series production 
• Be experienced in Stage Gate Model project delivery
• Be proficient in English
• Ideally have achieved recognized Project Management accreditation (preferably Prince2, PMI or IPMA)
