New design and reassessment of existing offshore structures
As Structural Engineer in our team, you will be working with engineers who are at the forefront of innovative design techniques within the offshore Energy business. Our projects range from concept definition and new design to reassessment of existing offshore structures. Your tasks will consist of advanced global analyses (3D beam element models), detailed local models (shell/solid finite element models) as well as concept and design studies of Jacket structures. You will be working on multidisciplinary projects with interfaces against other disciplines such as topsides and pipelines.

We imagine that you have the following skills:

• Master’s degree in structural, naval or mechanical engineering.
• Sound knowledge of structural steel design, static and dynamic engineering. Specialization in offshore or marine engineering would be a plus.
• 0-5 years of working experience as a structural engineer within the offshore or wind industry
• Solid knowledge of Excel, MathCad, Matlab and preferably ANSYS, Workbench and LS-DYNA
• Excellent oral and written English skills

Today, the Global Service Area for Jackets in Ramboll Energy counts more than 60 employees. The department is primarily working with jackets for both the oil & gas and the offshore wind industry. The department offers services within new substructure design, reassessment and service life extension, hazard (fire and explosion) engineering, noise and vibration engineering and finally Structural Health Monitoring Systems.
