Combining project management with design of instrumentation and safety systems As our new telecom engineer you will be responsible for technical design in accordance with our contracts and international standards. A large portion of our projects are multidiscipline and will give you the opportunity to work closely together with electrical, instrumentation, process, safety, piping, mechanical, structural and maintenance engineers. Trough out our work on the projects we maintain a continuous dialogue with our clients. Your tasks will include to: Design telecom systems related to oil- and gas installations and offshore wind farms Design internal systems such as LAN/WAN networks, telephone systems, radio systems and PAGA systems Design external systems such as communication to shore and other platforms including Line of Sight, satellite link systems and fibre optical systems Act as Project Manager for telecom projects, which include estimation and control of cost, time and resources Be a mentor for your younger colleagues in the department Participate in developing new procedures and guidelines within the disciplines You may expect to travel up to 2-4 times a year offshore, typically shorter periods of 2-3 days at a time. You maintain a constant focus on clients’ needs and satisfaction, while at the same time manage to build strong connections with them and get a "kick" out of delivering high quality results. To be a success in this position, we image that you have: A Bachelor or Master degree in either Electrical engineering, Control design, Electronics, Electro and Energy technology, or Marine engineer/Electro technician with a background as electrician Min. 4-6 years of relevant experience from one of following areas: automation, distributed control systems, instrumentation, metering, safety systems or telecom systems Good communication skills in English is a must and Danish is an advantage Worked on a daily basis with Microsoft Office.
