Join us to use your leadership skills and technical understanding to create a change in our Mould Design team in Denmark.

Transform Mould Design with focus on productivity and standardisation

At our HQ in Billund, you will take on a key role in our Engineering organisation as a team leader for 9 specialists who design new technical injection mould designs for our vast product portfolio. A major focus for the team in the coming years will be to transform a part of the Mould Design organisation into a lean and standardised set-up with focus on productivity and lead time. To do this, you will focus a lot on digitisation and automation of our mould design processes.

As part of the Mould Factory leadership team, you will work alongside 8 other team leaders and the senior director to translate business objectives and strategy into daily operations.

Your main priorities will be to:

• Lead, develop and motivate the team on a day-to-day basis

• Manage internal stakeholders globally to create a strong foundation for the team

• Ensure daily delivery, including performance tracking and continuous improvement of our processes

• Implement a lean approach in the team with focus on removing waste and redundant processes together with our Mould Design Technology team

Lean experience and technical insight

To be successful in the role, you will need a good value chain understanding and strong stakeholder management skills, as well as a demonstrated ability to lead through others. You have experience with lean tools and have a proven track record in optimising processes and delivering productivity gains. Furthermore, your approach to managing specialists and understanding their mind-set and technical insight is key to your success.

To facilitate this, we imagine that you bring:

• A degree in mechanical engineering or similar

• Some experience with moulding, CAD and 3D design systems

• At least 1 year of experience as a people leader
