Conduct early innovation research As Senior Analyst, you partake in early innovation research on different types of global strategic insights projects for front-end innovation departments at the LEGO Group. You are instrumental in building up the trends area, using insights as strategic foresights and utilising the latest research to bring early innovations that reflect where the LEGO Group should go. The global nature of your work takes you travelling up to 40 days per year to: Do foundational studies aimed at innovation through, e.g., ethnos, co-creation sessions, lead user and extreme user studies, focus group interviews, shadowing, netnography and shop-a-longs. Partake in iterative research sessions among kids and parents that support and strengthen the development of new experiences and prototypes. Communicate your research and its findings to transform key insights into business opportunities, concrete deliverables for designers and marketeers as well as strategic design directions. Enable trend studies and identification of strategic opportunities coupled with strategic consultancy that helps guide the departments in the right strategic direction. Experiment with new influential methods within innovation research and find new, intriguing and intuitive ways to communicate insights. Qualitative research experience and business mind-set In this position, you run insight workshops throughout the organisation and thrive because you are able to engage and on-board the many internal stakeholders. To succeed, you: Have 3+ years of relevant experience preferably from conducting consumer or design research in a commercial business environment - and any experience with digital insights and platforms is a plus. Probably hold a Master´s degree within Consumer Research, Interaction Design or similar, and you are passionate about qualitative research methodologies, techniques and designs. Are able to translate your research into concrete insights that are usable and actionable in a commercial context as design guidelines or new business opportunities, and it is a plus if you can visualise them. Know how to work with innovation, trends and future studies, as your insights need to reflect the LEGO Future. Communicate effortlessly in English.
