About the department You will be joining Innovation and Device Development which is an area within Device R&D. We are responsible for developing and maturing new device concept for injection treatment of chronic diseases within all business areas of Novo Nordisk A/S. You will part of a project team of 12 highly skilled engineers and designers, responsible for the development of a new platform of injection devices to support future Novo Nordisk A/S drugs. This includes, among other things, defining and managing requirements, safety risk management, design verification and validation including usability engineering. You will especially be focused on safety risk management and performing usability studies for design validation. We are presently building a platform for a new device concept and you will play an important role in implementing and shaping this system in the development project together with your experienced colleagues. You will be given a broad range of responsibilities plus the possibility to work with a variety of different tasks and manage stakeholders at all levels. The job will strengthen your professional and personal development, providing you with an opportunity to further develop your skills within specialist expertise and project management. Qualifications You hold an academic degree within Engineering with some working experience with safety risk management or usability engineering. Your experience preferably comes from either pharma, automotive, aerospace, energy or other industries where quality and regulatory compliance is vital to succeed. You have experiences with one or more of the following processes: Usability engineering, safety risk management, definition of technical product requirements and/or verification and validation. You have the ability to analyse and understand formative and summative user research data, perform safety risk management analysis on complex systems, and communicate them in a comprehensible way. You are self-motivated, ambitious and result-oriented. You are good at collaborating in teams as well as with stakeholders at all levels. Proficiency in oral and written English is essential.
