- Student & Internship - Denmark - Gentofte The World Diabetes Foundation (WDF) is seeking two student assistants About the World Diabetes Foundation (WDF) WDF was set up by Novo Nordisk A/S in 2002 as a self-governing, independent foundation, dedicated to supporting prevention and treatment of diabetes in developing countries. http://www.worlddiabetesfoundation.org The job We are recruiting two independent student assistants who thrive in a dynamic and international environment. You will be part of a highly functional team with committed and ambitious colleagues. Working hours will be in the range of 15 hours a week. An important cornerstone in our work is to monitor and document that our support to capacity building & advocacy leads to sustainable and high quality project outcomes. As a student assistant you will be the backbone of the Secretariat, i.e. handling a range of administrative tasks which are critical for our work and reporting flows. Small or big assignment, you are always eager to give a helping hand and see it through. Support to successful implementation of our new project database will be a particular focus area in 2015. The Share-Point-based IT platform is designed to better capture and utilise institutional memory and knowledge, incl. systematisation of project deliverables, results and learnings across thematic and geographical intervention areas. Qualifications You are persistent and systematic in your approach. Have analytical capacity and an ability to conceptualise and create overviews and reports. You are a good team player and have a great sense of diplomacy in dealing with people from different cultural and organisational backgrounds. BA degree in information and/or IT science, business administration, languages, international development studies, public health, other relevant BA from CBS or similar institution is preferred. You may have prior experience with project and general administration from e.g. an NGO or global business environment. Good administrative, financial and IT skills are an absolute must. Knowledge of MS SharePoint is an advantage. You are fluent in written and spoken English (working language), knowledge of Spanish and / or French will be an advantage, but not a demand.
