- Laboratory Technician - Denmark - Måløv Department of Protein Biophysics and Formulation is looking for a skilled laboratory technician. About the department The department is part of Global Research and is responsible for investigating the stability of proteins that are being selected for clinical trials. The most important experimental methods are HPLC, light scattering, particle detection and fluorescence. In addition, the department is anchor for endotoxin analysis in Global Research. The department currently is composed of 6 laboratory technicians and 6 scientists. The job In this position you will be performing biophysics and stability experiments on proteins to help select the best drugs of the future. The experiments are designed by scientists in the department, and typically involve several different techniques to compare different molecules. Plans are often revised when we get new experimental results. You will be working in a team with other highly skilled technicians with a good atmosphere and a strong culture of helping each other. A part of your time will be spent performing the endotoxin analysis, as part of a cross-departmental team of technicians. Qualifications The ideal applicant is a skilled technician with experience in protein research. You enjoy working with a diverse set of laboratory equipment, can plan your own workday and can perform a complex experiment carefully and reliably. Preferably, you have experience with analysis of proteins by HPLC. You are able to work independently but is also a team player with a positive mind set and is willing to contribute to a good working atmosphere. You are able to handle spoken and written English.
