- IT - Denmark - Greater Copenhagen area A new position as Head of IT Biopharm has been established to meet the increasing demands and strategic focus on IT.As Head of IT in Biopharm Business Support you will be responsible for setting the strategic IT direction and leading the IT organisation in the Biopharm SVP area. You will be heading up a highly dedicated team and play a key role in impacting over 200 people working with IT and 450 systems across the organisation. If you have a strong IT management background and are ready to make a difference, this may be the challenge for you. About the department Biopharm employs close to 2,500 people with production located in six different sites in Zealand and in New Hampshire (US). Reporting to the Vice President of Biopharm Business Support you will be heading up the Bio IT department and join the Business Support Management team. The Bio IT department is responsible for driving IT- and Automation initiatives across Biopharm.The responsibility includes creation and anchoring of IT strategies, governance of IT projects and providing general guidance on IT. The Job The Head of IT is responsible for setting the strategic direction and securing the right prioritisation of IT across Biopharm. The aim is to ensure that the IT and Automation set-up of the organisation supports and helps Biopharm to reach its overall quality, delivery and cost objectives. To achieve this you will head up a number of cross organisational forum and steering committees. You will also be driving standardisation and harmonisation, guiding and overlooking the IT budgets. Furthermore, you will support the organisational development through coaching of directors and VP’s at the sites.Your team will also be responsible for a large and highly profiled cross organisational project about IT compliance and data integrity.The position also includes being the SVP IT partner, which means that you will be advising the Biopharm senior management. Qualifications You hold a relevant master’s degree, i.e. IT & Computing or Engineering. You have at least 10 years of relevant experience with IT strategy and management, preferably within the pharma industry. It would be an advantage if you have experience with program or project management of large, cross organisational projects. You have minimum 5 years of experience with people management. You thrive with creating results working closely with management outside own line of reporting, since this is where the IT solutions are managed and deployed.As Head of IT you can have the ability to set aspiring ambitions for the whole organisation and take responsibility to drive Biopharm to reach its targets.
