Would you like to help implement analytics-based credit processes at Danske Bank? Would you like to help strengthen Danske Bank's credit risk management? You will be needing both analytical skills and in-depth knowledge of credit risk management – in return, you will be given the opportunity to bring your opinion of sound credit management into play, and you will gain access to unique professional development options. At Group Risk Management, we lay down the framework for group credit management, and we ensure that the framework is complied with by means of follow-up activities. For instance, we are responsible for risk appetite, credit policies, risk statements and risk reporting on the Group's credit portfolio. We apply the most sophisticated approaches in the area (IRB advanced), and it is our ambition to be the best in class internationally. We are located in Høje Taastrup near Copenhagen. Implementation of best in class credit management approaches You will be part of Credit Standards & Infrastructure. We form part of Risk Analytics, a department consisting of about 70 dedicated staff members with responsibility for risk management models. In Credit Standards & Infrastructure, we are charged with determining and implementing fundamental standards for the Bank's credit management approach and bridging the gap between the Bank's risk management models and operational credit processes, thereby ensuring optimum credit risk management. Moreover, we hold group responsibility for the Bank's credit system portfolio and coordinate all continued development across business areas. With us, you will have a highly varied working day, independent responsibility and widespread contacts in the organisation. Collaborating with the Bank's staff and business units, you will be identifying problems and analysing various possible solutions on the basis of current legislation and practice in terms of the IRB advanced approach. Finally, you will be preparing decision-making proposals for management, just as you will be responsible for implementing the solutions – often in collaboration with Danske Bank's IT department. Your new colleagues are a mix of analysts and people with a background in banking, and this produces a highly professional environment in which everyone can draw on each other's strengths. Strong analyst with knowledge of credit management You have a relevant theoretical background so that you are familiar with risk management techniques according to the IRB advanced approach. Furthermore, it would be an advantage if you have experience from the financial sector, preferably of credit processing and handling of financially weak customers. You have strong analytical skills and like to study complex problems and details. You are familiar with SAS and SQL. However, most of all, you are interested in how a bank operates and how you put risk management theory into practice in customer-facing functions. And you are persistent and do not give up until things work. In addition, it is important that you can communicate technical problems in a non-technical manner and that you speak and write English well. Would you like further information?
