Job Description

Can you see yourself as main responsible for the release management process and for defining the scope of an One ERP release? Then this might be the job for you.

One ERP is the foundation of Danfoss’ digital transformation. It will give Danfoss speed and flexibility enabling us to give a better digital customer experience. This will be possible by having aligned business processes, SAP configurations, business forms, master data definitions and training material across the entire organization. You will join a highly motivated One ERP Program Team with members from the four Danfoss segments and key corporate functions. Together with business input, they have built the system, established various interfaces and mapped business processes upfront, using the latest technology available. The implementation of One ERP is running and an ambitious three-year roadmap is in place and will cover all Danfoss’ entities across the world.

Leading the release management process
As our new Release Lead, you will become part of the Release Lead team with responsibility to drive the release progress according to plan and for the Go-Live with release entities according to plan. You will work closely together with the management of the local entities, One ERP Program SteerCo, Release SteerCo, ERP-LT, Design Authority and Competence Center and Build and Transition Factories, which will include a lot of virtual teamwork.

Your key tasks will be to:

• Define Level 1 and Level 3 plans for the release.
• Plan and prepare release.
• Oversee Data Cleansing activities for the entities in the release.
• Plan and Execute Boot-Camp, Fit Analysis, Design, Data Migrations, Integration tests, User Acceptance test, Cutover and Go-Live.
• Manage post go-live support period.
• Overall forecasts to Build and Transition factories.This position is for now located in Flensburg, Germany but over time it can be moved to e.g. Nordborg, Denmark, so you need to be flexible regarding the location. 

Release expert with project management skills
We expect you to have 5+ years of experience in software release and version management combined with a solid experience in project and release management for global distributed SAP programs.

On a more personal note, you are result-oriented, analytical, structured and systematic, which gives you influence and credibility across both Business and IT. You are both self-driven and a good team player, and you are used to working in an international environment. You have a strong understanding of business objectives with their domain and understanding of external data trends. You see yourself as a strong change agent and an effective communicator. Last, but not least, you are fluent in business English, both written and verbal.
