Then this could be a unique chance for you to make your mark on the future development of our quality function in Electric Heating Systems (EH) in Danfoss’ Heating Solutions Division (HS). It will be your mission to integrate a quality mindset across all functions in EH and ensure ownership through leadership. As we have facilities across Europe (Poland and France) the position entails some travelling. Improve and lead quality management You will be overall responsible for the EH Service Center in Vejle securing the optimal process for claims handling and corrective actions supporting Danfoss’ value proposition. We will rely on you to increase our quality level and mindset across the entire EH value chain – both within our functions and in processes involving more functions. This includes capability development in the organisation. Our organisation should be characterised by our work with quality in all functions and processes whether in Marketing/Sales, R&D, Procurement or Management thus ensuring our customers the best service, satisfaction and value proposition. Your areas of responsibility will among others include: •Preparing and implementing a road map for quality initiatives taking EH to the next level in respect of delivering on our value proposition and minimising quality costs •Setting up and implementing a framework for the business management system •Improving the customer experience through structured activities and processes •Signing off on product quality in connection with product launches (milestone audits – due diligence on quality and NPV) •Facilitating utilisation of core quality tools in relevant processes across the entire value chain – including also providing the necessary training and capability development •Securing TS 16949 implementation and compliance in EH together with managers and employees in the quality organisation, with functional leaders in EH and with the TS project organisation in the Heating Solution Division Solid change management experience and a heart for quality Your educational background is probably a BSc/MSc in engineering and you come with exhaustive experience in quality management and profound knowledge of quality standards and quality systems. You have experience from developing, implementing and sustaining processes in one or more large and international organisations and you have solid change management and Lean skills. You come with a clear understanding of customer requirements as regards quality and you are not afraid to challenge the existing and propose bold moves. You are dedicated to quality, have a healthy eye for detail and urgency and you are an experienced communicator.
