Do you have the experience and competences necessary to ensure that Danfoss Power Electronics is always updated in regard to relevant global legislation and standardisations that can impact the business? And can you serve the Industry Affairs board and assist in securing right ownership of legislative challenges? Then keep on reading as you could be our new Head of Industry Affairs at Danfoss Power Electronics (PE). You will be responsible for keeping PE management and business unit up to date on relevant legislation and standardisations. As such, you translate the development of global standards and legislation into potential business impacts both positive and negative. Furthermore, you represent PE in the internal cooperation with Danfoss’ corporate Public Affairs and other divisional Industry Affairs. Monitor and influence the global legislation and standardisation As Head of Industry Affairs, your mission is to make PE visible and promote Danfoss’ position on selected areas and organisations. In close cooperation with corporate PA and other divisional industry affairs functions you act as ambassador for PE promoting PE priorities. Among your responsibilities are: •secure PE monitors relevant legislation and standardisation globally •develop possible ways to react/scenarios for PE´s management to secure influence on selected legislations and standardisations •develop and communicate prioritised activities within legislation and standardisation ensuring PE activity in selected branch organisations and standardisation groups •develop and maintain an efficient governance structure in PE and secure the Industry Affairs Board plays an active role in formulating PE positions •ensure that branch organisations and members of standardisation bodies are registered in the Danfoss database for external memberships You will play a key role in formulating PE positions to be used in influencing legislation and standardisation and contribute to the PE perspective. As such, your success in this position depends on your ability to actively promote/lobby for the use of VSD solutions and assure relevant legislation and standardisations are implemented in the organisation in due time. Substantial legislation and standardisation experience You hold a technical background and, if possible, you have knowledge about drives and power drive systems (PDS) backed by substantial experience working in branch organisations with standardisation and/or legislation. Furthermore, you have a wide spread network branched in many different segments such as customers, suppliers, branch organisations or the likes. On a more personal note, you are extrovert and you like to work with others. You are self-driven and last but not least, you are experienced in negotiating in English and German.
