For our EHS department, we are looking for a communicative Product Safety Coordinator and an IT specialist to support the manager to exercise the applicable monitoring and supervisory duties and to coordinate the safety measures. What are my responsibilities? • Defining expanded criteria for Reporting Current Incidents Including the criteria at a minimum, the binding reporting criteria set out in Siemens AG requirement’s for Incident reporting and Guidelines for Product Safety • Coordinating EHS related safety measures • Implementation of actions related to the functions and IT systems • Providing specialist support for the Operational Review departments at all levels • Setting up a reporting system for eq. (KRIMA) EHS Incidents and Risk Management within the Division and regularly verifying its effectiveness • Setup training and support to the required IT tools related to the function • Carrying out monitoring duties concerning the implementation and effectiveness of improvement measures that have been approved (for example through management reviews) What do I need to qualify for this job? You may have a technical background – however, it is more important that you have experience with quality systems – CAPA, Incident Management, Risk Management, Continous Improvements, ISO 9001, ISO 14001 OSHAS 18001 and EN relevant standards. Moreover, you are an honest, hard-working and independent person with lots of drive and follow-through. You have excellent training and communication skills and use them in order to influence and convince people of your message. At the same time, you acknowledge that taking a stand and facing the challenges can motivate necessary changes. Finally, you possess good English skills, both orally and in writing, and you are an experienced IT user. In this position, you should expect approx. 50 – 60 travelling days per year.
