Would you like to be a vital figure in developing and maintaining project schedules and project reporting? Would you like to have influence on the further development of our Projects department’s processes within planning and project management? Do you want to be a “best practice” ambassador for our project management execution? Then this could be the right position for you. Develop and maintain project schedules As a project planner/controller, you are offered a unique opportunity to have influence, not only on your daily tasks, but also on how work processes are followed and carried out in the department. Through close dialogue with your key stakeholders in project management, purchasing, and other corporate functions you ensure that they incorporate the planning function as a natural part of the project process. As such, your main focus is to prepare and coordinate time schedules for large-scale projects. Your daily tasks will be to: •Help define project goals and objectives •Create and maintain project-related schedules in cooperation with the project team •Contribute to improvement of efficiency and quality in the projects by development and implementation of generic processes for planning and reporting •Liaise with internal and external partners •Make reporting for external and internal use •Support the Project Management team by participating in client meetings, developing effective work processes and by ensuring project control. Proactive and service-minded with solid planning skills You present yourself as communicative and service-oriented with strong collaboration and relation building skills. It comes naturally to you to concentrate on the detail without losing the overview and focus on creating results. You are able to work conceptually and develop structure where it is needed. You acknowledge the importance of communication and work well in teams as well as independently. To succeed in the role, you need the following competences: •B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in organisation and economics or a degree in engineering •Min. 3-5 years of experience with planning tools, preferably Primavera •Min. 3-5 years of experience in similar field with planning of projects •Good communication skills in English •It is an advantage if you have experience within Oil & Gas, energy/wind, transportation or construction Your new colleagues The Planning Team in the Project Management department is a team of dedicated employees working with project planning and project control.
