Transport & Handling is a department within Vestas R&D organization, Technology & Service Solutions (TSS). TSS is a cornerstone of Vestas and is shaping the future of modern energy by developing and maturing new products and technologies. The Transport & Handling department is responsible for developing and maintaining concepts, processes and tools for Transport, Installation and Maintenance of our wind turbines. Transport & Handling Tools is a part of the Transport & Handling department. The team is responsible for designing and specifying all custom tools needed in order to Transport, Install and Maintain Vestas wind turbines. The main work areas of the Project Coordinator are: Ensure evaluation of requests in cooperation with stakeholders using our Engineering Change Management system Planning of incoming department tasks Manage incoming requests from technicians and warehouse managers globally and ensure timely responses Communication of new tool releases Responsibilities: As Project Coordinator in Transport & Handling Tools you will ensure effective evaluation and execution of incoming work requests. Using our ECM system you ensure that all requests are evaluated, assigned and planned in corporation with the manager and relevant stakeholders. You follow up on project progress and ensure plans are updated and deadlines met. Further you act as the department’s point of contact towards the organization and manage incoming enquiries as well as communicating new tool releases.
