Grundfos Holding A/S is looking for an intern to work in Governmental Affairs during the coming autumn semester (August 2016 to January 2017). What is the job about? Your primary tasks and responsibilities will be to assist the Governmental Affairs Manager and the rest of the global communication department. Your tasks will include: - Deskresearch on relevant policies and regulations affecting Grundfos – primarily within energy efficiency and water. - Create and update overview of relevant legislation and regulation affecting Grundfos in key markets across the globe. - Draft position papers on key issues for Grundfos (for example water distribution, waste water management, energy efficiency etc.) - Draft responses to public consultations. - Draft opinion pieces to Danish and international media on behalf of Grundfos management. - Draft speeches at political events for Grundfos management. - Ad hoc tasks. As we have numerous other students, you will partake in our internal network hosted by the Graduates in Grundfos Graduate Programme. Here you can meet with other students to share experiences, gain more insight or just have fun in “Archimedes’ Club”. What do you need to apply? As our potential new intern, you are studying at master’s level – probably within politics, business or law, but the right candidate with another background is relevant as well. You must be able to connect the dots between Grundfos’ business and politics, and knowledge about the energy sector and/or water sector is a great advantage. You have an international outlook and speak and write fluent English – it is a great plus if you can also handle French, German or Spanish at a professional level. We expect you to proactively take initiative on new assignments and work independently. You are ambitious with the intention to add value to our company and willing to learn.
