Are you motivated by optimising quality and productivity using LEAN tools together with a strong production team? You will join Supply Chain, Danfoss in Nordborg and become part of a team responsible for process optimisation, and you will periodically represent Supply Chain in challenging and exciting development projects. Production execution, quality control and development Projects You will report to the Director of Supply Chain, and your overall objectives will be to plan and execute process technology activities in order to ensure optimal operations and problem solving in the line. You are to make sure that systems and documentation are available to the operators, and facilitate safe working conditions according to standards and working practices. At the same time, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality standards of produced products. You will also be the representative of Supply Chain in Product Developments Projects (PDP) where you will have influence on strategy, concepts, supplier requirements, design, ramp-up plan, pilot run and so on. Your tasks will e.g. include: •Participation in DPP projects/Kaizens (LEAN) and preparation of plans for improvement to eliminate losses and increase productivity •Monitoring hourly, daily and weekly production levels and taking appropriate steps to fill the gaps, if any •Being part of implementing TS 16949 •Developing and maintaining PFEMA •Ensuring that operators are trained and follow job descriptions and standards (SOP) •Supporting problem solving and generating ideas by using quality tools (4-step methods) •Fast reaction and analysing when having “stop the line” issues •Monitoring OEE in the line and taking necessary action to meet the target level •Ensuring a tidy work place adhering to 5S requirements Engineer with experience in LEAN and with a can-do attitude You have a background as mechanical or production engineer, a degree in process technology or other relevant theoretical background as a technician, backed by practical experience from working with manufacturing and sustained improvements.On a more personal note, you have the energy and a can-do attitude for performance, and you thrive on giving that bit of extra to ensure the successful outcome from idea to implementation. Quality is a main driver, and you have a structured approach to your work and take on responsibility. You maintain a high spirit and a positive mind despite the challenges of everyday bustle, and solve the problems through a strong communication with your colleagues and stakeholders in the organisation.
