As such you will head EH’s product portfolio within the Business Development & Marketing organisation and assist in setting the strategic direction for the organisation. You will play a key role in realising our strategy and improving the business by developing the right product strategies and roadmaps reducing complexity in the product portfolio. Develop a strong product portfolio organisation Your mission is to develop and lead the product portfolio team consisting of seven skilled employees and as such you secure an excellent and consistent performance on strategic, tactical and operational level. You spearhead the development and implementation of a clear and well-documented business plan delivering on the agreed targets in terms of innovation rate, sales, GGP and EBIT. Other key responsibilities for you and your team are to: •develop an innovative product portfolio – develop and execute product area strategies and roadmaps •optimise product profitability through product management •serve as product and application experts and ensure the availability of master data, technical documentation and training •drive the portfolio frontend process and strategic pricing You become part of an international environment and are offered a unique opportunity to impact the future development of the business unit. Substantial business acumen and leadership experience You have a relevant commercial master’s degree backed by solid experience within sales and business development, and you have strong commercial knowledge and a drive to develop the business. Furthermore, it is important that you have anchored a good deal of your experience within product management. Your career has both provided you with a proven commercial track record and strengthened your technological insight as well as your ability to develop and execute strategies. You can inspire people around you and clearly communicate visions and direction. You know how to navigate in cross-cultural organisations, and your natural authority enables you to handle heavy pressure and requirements from multiple key stakeholders.
