Do you want to be the voice of our feature teams’ vision and product roadmap process? Milestone Systems are looking for an experienced Product Owner that can coordinate and drive the prioritization and development of; Test Automation framework, Test Automation on our Product Tests and Large-Scale Testing backlogs.   

The role 

You will be the voice of our feature teams in the vision and product roadmap process that you will be responsible for creating together with the stakeholders. You will be responsible for describing- and breaking down work, where you will have a unique opportunity to influence, shape and drive best practice work processes.   

You will prioritize the backlog for numerous feature teams spanning several countries so that the solution effectively addresses the problems that we are trying to solve. It is very important that the technical integrity is ensured since Milestone relies heavily on Test Automation when releasing our products. This will happen in close collaboration with Development Leads, other Product Owners and Feature Teams to ensure a consistent and coherent customer experience.  

A sneak peak of your daily work: 

• Contribute to the product vision and roadmap, making sure we deliver what Milestone needs 
• Align the needs of the feature teams against the current backlog 
• Defining, maintaining and prioritizing the feature team backlogs of user stories, tasks and defects  
• Making sure that the user stories are well defined before refinement meetings 
• Work with feature team to ensure quality of implementation  

 Cross-functional and cross-sites teams 

Our R&D department is using Scrum and Kanban-based processes and is organized in cross-functional feature teams in; Copenhagen, Denmark; Sofia, Bulgaria and Barcelona, Spain. On a daily basis you will work closely together with the Test Automation teams in Copenhagen and Sofia but will have interaction with all feature teams. As a Product Owner for Test Automation you will report to the Danish Test Automation Manager and will be responsible for three feature teams. Your position will be in Denmark.     

Experienced and Agile  

You have a degree in Engineering or Computer Science with 8+ years of experience from the IT industry and 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner/Program Manager/Product Manager in building and shipping scalable commercial products or services.   

In addition, we expect you to have: 

• An overview of the Test Automation trends and what is to come next 
• Hands-on experience with Agile development practices, Kanban and Scrum 
• Strong understanding of engineering functions and processes 
• Solid technical experience from teams delivering software written in C++ or C# 
• Excellent communication skills and English is at a high level both verbally and in writing  
• Passion - You want to make a difference!
